Our family just a week ago added a pug puppy to our home and we absolutely love her . She is 8 wks. old and her name is Madison. The problem we are having with her is the awful housebreaking

Usually a pugs mood varies everyday which is turning out to be a regular worry all the time You should see the look on her face

Our pug likes to be a bit of a diva and whimpers to beat the band when she sees my husband putting on his coat and hat and heading for the door. Our little dog wants attention 24/7 and she knows that the puppy pad is the place to receive it, so if she desires our commendation she waddles over to it as speedily as possible

We have left every stone unturned to help her to go to the potty .Then there are days like yesterday where she won't go to the door or the puppy pad .There are occasions when we take her outside the back and show her the grass but to no avail

Our local veterinarian told us that pug dogs can have issues with lice and we hoped he would be able to unravel the mystery. Her diet has stayed the same since the day we got her and she never gets tidbits as a friend of mine said that was the worst thing to do

She has even started to use the bathroom in her deary taxi again, I also read an article that pug puppies do have troubles yet we don't understand why but she does her poops in her bed. She enjoys going out and we constantly bring her out after she has drunk a bucket load of water. She copes to last 8 to ten hours depending on how long she naps for, Some weeks ago I left the door open so she could go to the bathroom on her puppy pad but that was a failure. The cheeky little monkey even went so far as to piddle on my hubbys shirt, to say he was upset would be an understatement

She is never spanked at or hollered at all we do is say no and bring her out. What can we do to cure this Does she get mazed by us taking her outside as well as giving her the alternate of the doggie pad. What have we done to make her backslide back to square one.Any help would be appreciated. What can we do to set her on the straight and narrow so that she is properly housetrained.
